Staff was incredibly friendly and informative. We left with a beautiful final product. It is a fabulous way to spend a Saturday.

We purchased two places in the Board or Coaster Making workshop as a birthday gift for our daughter and a friend. Both women were over the moon with the experience and the charcuterie boards they came away with. I think it is probably one of the best gifts we have ever found for our daughter who loves camping, hiking, making and is environmentally conscientious. I am now retired, but this workshop would also make for a great team building experience for a company's employees. Kudos to Just Be Woodsy for such an innovative way of engaging the public and reaching out to their community. And last but not least, I don't live in Toronto and really appreciated the timely responses and thorough explanations to the questions I posed via email. Thank you Robert!

I gave the specs I was looking for in a table and Just Be Woodsy took time to find just the right fit. I got an oval Norway maple that came from my area. The table is super soft and very well made. The process from order to delivery was effortless. I highly recommend!

Having enjoyed a Just Be Woodsy cutting board we decided to graduate to a dining room table. Robert was so very helpful in guiding us through the process - we needed a narrow table to accommodate some moved walls after a renovation. The end result is a great result! They custom built a live edge table for the top and had their metal fabricator build the base. From design through to delivery and installation - top marks!

Thanks to Just Be Woodsy for helping us to bring the forest to our urban school environment. We just purchased our first kit in time for a wonderful hands on staff workshop all about loose parts and outdoor education. The quality of the kit was amazing and I know our students will be enjoying this kit for years to come. Can't wait to add to it once we find appropriate storage for it all.

I purchased this cutting board as a gift, and now I wish I'd ordered one for myself too! It is a gorgeous piece of wood, and sanded and rounded perfectly. The engraving turned out really well too. It is a big step up from the usual cutting boards that are out there. Very happy with how it turned out!

I love our cube. It adds a rustic but modern look to our living room and is so solid and sturdy. I can barley lift it. I’ve had multiple people order one after seeing it in my home. This is the same furniture designer that designed furniture for the beautiful 1 Hotel. We also love the fact that each cube is unique and there is such a great sustainable story behind it.

We bought a dining table from them a couple of years ago choosing our own piece of wood and designing our own legs and matching bench. They are my favourite pieces of furniture in the house and we always get compliments on them. Fabulous designers, products and delivery was amazing.

Robert and his team did a great job on the dining table. We worked together to design a table that we love and it turned out amazing. We waited 3 months for them to create the table after picking out the tabletop piece at their warehouse (super cool experience by the way, highly recommend!), and it was worth the wait. We receive compliments on the table constantly and the delivery process was very smooth. We thank Robert and the team for the love they put in the making of this piece and for checking in with us after a couple weeks of use.

Wobble its a favourite at our house. My 9 and 6 year old boys love to compete against their parents at who can make the higher tower. It's so much fun and I love that the game is super durable, not even out rough and tumble family can hurt it. 10/10 recommend!

Led by the friendly and welcoming team at Just Be Woodsy, the community workshop is a really fantastic experience for anyone with interest in the lifecycle of felled trees in the Toronto area, and/or the woodworking process. Very beginner friendly, with instruction and safety equipment provided, the workshop provides a really nice combination of verbal discussion and hands-on learning. Producing your own beautiful piece by the end of the workshop is a really satisfying way to tie it all together! Would absolutely recommend anyone reading this review to give it a chance and attend!
